The mats provide safety for areas that would otherwise be slippery. Made from non-porous natural rubber, these ice rink mats will not absorb moisture. They are easily maintained with soap and water, and will not crack or peel even under the most extreme temperatures.
Rink Runners
Rubbermats.com offers three different types of ice skating mats. Our Rink Runners, Deluxe Rink Mats, and Econo Rink Mats have all been created with different features and benefits in mind. The Rink runners come in rolls, so that they can be custom-cut to your exact specifications. Recommended for installation with an adhesive and sealant, these ice skating mats are available in solid black, or black with yellow, white, green, or blue flecks. Custom specialty colors are also available.
Deluxe Rink Mats
Resistant to exposed blades, Deluxe Rink Mats are heavy-duty nylon-reinforced rubber runners. These rubber ice skating mats are ideal for the most demanding areas around the skating rink. These mats are the largest in the industry, and are available in lengths up to 16’ and widths to 6’. They lay flat and resist curling when installed over any level surface. The ice rink mats have a diamond pattern surface for additional traction. Deluxe Rink Mats are also offered with optional interlocking tabs for larger installations.
The Econo Rink Mats
The 73” x 49” Econo Rink Mats are 1/2” thick genuine rubber mats with true-square edges to align perfectly without unsightly seams or gaps. For installations in areas where blades are exposed, Econo Rink Mats have a diamond-patterned top to provide excellent traction.

Protecting features
These mats protect floors from the sharp blades of ice skates. In turn, skates are protected and kept sharp since the rubber prevents them from getting blunt. Therefore, the mats are protective in two ways, making them the perfect addition to every ice rink. Aside from this, our ice skating mats are slip resistant and water resistant, meaning that they are suitable for areas where (melted) ice would normally cause problems such as slipping hazards. The water resistant feature makes these mats long lasting and easy to clean, since the rubber does not absorb any type of liquid.
